Alexa & Kaylee had back to school night on Aug. 23rd (Alexa) & 24th (Kaylee). Thats when they get to take their school supplies to school and put them away in their class rooms. And they get to meet their teacher and just walk around the school.

After Kaylee's back to school night I took the three school girls out for snow cones!
In case you noticed...Alexa doesn't have as many pictures as Kaylee...and thats because when I was taking a picture of her at her locker she informed me that I was embarrassing her! Ha little stinker! So I didn't get many pictures of her at school.

The girls started school on Aug. 25, 2010. They were so excited! I walked them out to the bus stop and they just couldn't stop smiling! It made me think of Alexa's first day of kindergarten and how I was a big mess and just crying! And back then Kaylee was only 1 and I couldn't even imagine her starting school! And now the time is here for Kaylee to start school! This time I was not a wreck! I'm not sure if it was because I had already been through it before or I felt like I had to be strong so she wouldn't worry about me or maybe it's because I'm glad to get rid of two of the kids for 8 hrs a day! ha Who knows but after they got on the bus and I was pushing the little two back in the stroller my eyes started to water! But as the days went on oh how I enjoyed the peace and quiet and I could get the little two on a schedule and they had NAPS! Which was sooo nice! I hadn't been able to do that! I think I'm LoViNg the school schedule!
I forgot to mention that earlier in the summer I was notified that the girls were going to be on different buses. But on Monday (school started that Wed.) I received a voice-mail from a bus driver named Steve. And he was confirming that Kaylee was going to be on his bus. I called him back to confirm that was right and asked what bus number and he said 88. Which was a total different number and driver that I had received before. So I assumed that Alexa's was changed as well. So I called the bus barn and couldn't reach anybody! So on the first day of school when Kaylee got on the bus I noticed that some bigger kids got on as well (forgot to also say that they are going to different schools..Kaylee's is K-3 and Alexa's is 4-6) so I asked the driver and he said that Alexa does get on! WooHoo! At least they get on the same bus! They drop off Alexa first then Kaylee. And Kaylee gets picked up first after school then they driver over and get Alexa. I wasn't happy about the schools changing everything but at least they are on the same bus! :0)
